Opis kursa:
Ovaj predmet ima za cilj da studentima obezbijedi znanja, vještine i kompetencije koje su im neophodne da bi odgovorili potrebama savremenog tržišta rada, sa aspekta istraživanja tržišta u kulturi i turizmu. Fokus je stavljen na razumijevanje različitih statističkih tehnika i njihovu primjenu u prikupljanju, organizovanju, obradi, analizi i interpretaciji dobijenih rezultata. U okviru predmeta studenti će imati priliku da stečeno teorijsko znanje primijene u praksi i to kroz realizaciju različitih projekata iz oblasti kulture i turizma u kojima će imati priliku da samostalno definišu istraživačko pitanje, kreiraju uzorke i upitnike, prikupljaju podatke i sprovode istraživanje, obrađuju, analiziraju i interpretiraju rezultate itd)
Nakon završetka kursa student je osposobljen da:
- Razumije statističke koncepte i interpretira rezultate;
- Sprovodi proces istraživanje tržišta, sakuplja, organizuje i obrađuje podatke;
- Adekvatno analizira i interpretira dobijene rezultate;
- Kritički analizira statističke podatke koji se mogu naći u različitim akademskim i stručnim časopisima i drugim relevantnim izvorima;
- Prepoznaje značaj statistike u savremenom poslovanju i značaj njene primjenu u različitim segmentima i aspektima svakodnevnog života.
Course description:
The course Market research methodology in culture and tourism is designed to help students to interpret the results obtained by applying various statistical techniques, either descriptive or deductive. Thus, the course is focused on understanding statistical techniques and the application of techniques in data collection, organization and presentation and interpretation of results. It will include elementary statistical concepts such as concept of central tendency, measures of dispersion, probability, confidence interval, tests of hypothesis, correlation and regression analysis, indices. In addition, within the course, students implement practical projects where they apply the acquired knowledge on real data and calculate and interpret various indicators and measures (independently defining a research question, defining statistical techniques, creating a sample and questionnaire and describing data).
Upon the completion of this course, student will be able to:
- Understand statistical concepts and interpret results;
- Conduct market research, collect and organize data and prepare analysis and solve different problems;
- Critically analyze statistical arguments that can be found in various academic and non-academic articles and texts;
- Understand the importance of statistics as a science and recognize real-life examples and compare different states and situations.
